Playscape with Spacenets

Jurong Lake Park – one of the island state’s most important inner-city parks. Corocord was engaged in 2005 to design a playscape as the centrepiece when the park was extensively redesigned.

Bridges and Spacenets

A very diverse ensemble of Corocord elements was created around an artificial, two metres high hill, including a long Rope Net Bridge which leads to various Spacenets from the hill's platform.

Local partners and special conditions

When planning the ensemble, we worked in close association with a local architect's office. Our exceptional skills in the approach to rope architecture were especially called for in this project as the rope elements and other parts had to be adapted to the particular climate conditions in the tropics.
